The Name Game

Linda Farmer of tanglepatterns.com has issued a Zentangle challenge. Why are these so much fun?? Not sure about the answer to that, but all I know is, I can't resist. This one seemed like it would be interesting, and it was! The game is to find tangles that begin with each letter of your name and create a tile using these tangles.
I used: Chainging, Ahh, Rain, Onomato, Locar and Emingle. Lots of fun, these challenges. Thanks, Linda!

  2. Love the 'chain'. I'll have to try that one. I also want to try tangling my name.

  4. The chain was fun. I'm not very good at making a "real" chain, as the links never match up when I get in the "Z" zone, but once I was aware that they didn't match up, I just made more links that sort of did. I will be doing this again since it was so fun!

  5. What a lovely mix of patterns Carole. Hope you post any more versions you do because it is so interesting to compare the results. Experimenting with different strings and different patterns - it's all good. This "experiment" really does show that everyone's name is beautiful! Thanks so much for participating.
