What's in a Name

Daggerly

The mandalas have me going round and round, so I am not surprised that some tangles would appear with a circular nature. Tangles creep in from our surroundings and emerge when they are ready.

In wandering around the walls of Facebook, a friend had posted a particular music video. When I say things creep from our surroundings... I meant it. This was one creepy song, but there was something artfully stinging about it, and like the proverbial wreck on the highway, there I was, watching it till the end.

So the mandalas had me going in circles and Nick Cage had me wondering about Stagger Lee, and there you have it. The planets sort of lined up for this tangle, Daggerly. I figure there is beauty in every beast.

  1. Very Op-Art. I like how your tangle illustrations are usually one single pattern rather than a melange of several. It really shows off the pattern. Love it!
