Steps for Voxter...

  1. Arrrgghhh - got any tips on drawing circles that don't end up all jiggly pointy! Oh the paper I've been through ... ;-)

  2. They don't have to be perfect. In fact the more imperfect the circle on this tangle, the more interesting the pattern. Go slow but don't worry about its roundness. If you look at mine, they are pretty wonky! The more circles you do, the more you will find your own rhythm with them.

Maybe try this: aim your eye at the point where you want to end while you are making the circle, and see if your hand just follows it. Sort of like keeping your eye on the ball. My CZT friend, Peg Farmer, who has done lots of work with horses, says that when you want a horse to go somewhere, look at where you want him to go. There is a lot to be said about intent!

  3. I love what your friend said ! It is so true... more times than not we seem to focus and affirm what we don't want ...thanks for reminding me ...

  4. Thanks for the tips Carole, it really does help to keep one's eye on the target, rather than the path. Learning ... always learning ...

  5. There is a balance to be found somewhere between "seeing" the end, and being with the path as you go:) It sure is fun trying to find it!

  6. LOL had to laugh about the tip to look where you want to go. The exact thing my instructor said when I learned to drive a motorbike. "If you look at those bushes, you will end up in them ! " See, this tip is useful for a lot of things ;-) Love the pattern, thanks for sharing !

  7. I had some trouble making all the zigzags go in the same direction - so some of mind didn`t, and I think I like it best when they don`t!
