I'm beginning to look at my Tangle-A-Day calendar less like a calendar and more of a journal. I can feel all the things I'm looking at and doing are finding their way into the day's Zentangle. Even though my "plan" for January was to start at the beginning of the alphabet, other things are sneaking in. Orbs, for instance. This week's challenge from the Diva colored lots of what I did this week...
hey! i just got my calendar(s) in the mail yesterday afternoon!! Thank you!! ;)
ReplyDeletecan't wait to get started. Maybe during naptime today!!
That's beautiful. I love how you extend designs across the boundaries.
ReplyDeleteLove the crazy "buttons".

Carole, this is just wonderfully inspiring. I think I'll start a separate piggy bank to buy your calendar for next year - it'll be worth the anticipation, plus I get to benefit from a year's worth of your work! (you will share all year, won't you? - *wink*)
ReplyDeleteHi Carole,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these picies of your lovely tangles on your calendar. They are all gorgeous, and a brilliant inspiration for us all. I love the orbes/bubbles on day 17 & 18 especially the tiny one that looks like a button right in the middle of day 17 with the two threads poking out. Is there a name for them? and if so what is it please? Would you ever consider posting a video with yours tangling on your calendar so we can see you in progress? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you'll say yes.
warmest best wishes,
Su
Hi Su, I don't have a name for those little orbs. I need to get organized with naming some things, but soon I hope! I haven't tried doing a video yet, but that might be fun! Thanks for all of your lovely comments!
