Finished Cuff

I've finished my first Zentangle inspired beadweaving project. I was really happy to have found the perfect clasp for this peyote-stitch cuff: a button I bought about five years ago during a trip to NYC. It had been patiently waiting (as many buttons are) in my big button box.
Next up: a two-inch wide cuff. (This one is one inch wide)

  3. Wow, Carole... that's wonderful. I think I just found a use for all those beads I've collected (but haven't yet used!). And that button is just exactly right for it!!

  7. How awesome to combine two skills in which you are so accomplished! Wearing your cool cuff will bring interest to your beading, when you are teaching Zentangle, and then will bring interest to Zentangle when you are with your beading friends.

  8. Hi Carole, I am pretty new to tangling, and also to beading. I am hooked on both! Fabulous bracelet.

  9. Carole, this is really beautiful! I bet it was a lot of fun to combine your two loves, zentangle and beading. I have to smile at the mention of your big button box! When I was little I loved looking at my grandma's button box. Happy memory!:)

  11. This is so nice! I just absolutely am in love with it. The button must have known that there would be the perfect spot for him one day!
