Love it! If I may ask a technical question, are you using the Micron 01 pen? Your drawings have such an interesting texture to them. I find I do better with the 02, but maybe it's the paper I'm using for the patterns - it's just regular printer paper and smoother than the official tiles. Cheers, Linda
This one was done with an 01 Micron, but on a piece of cover stock that I had. I often use inexpensive (free in this case... my brother is a printer!) tiles when I am working out an idea. The texture of this paper is a little smoother than the Zentangle tiles. I also used the official Zentangle pencil to shade. They are my favorite.
Love this one, Carole! It has kind of an Art Nouveau feel to it yet bold and striking! While I love the juxtaposition of curvy designs next to linear geometric ones, I find I'm more attracted to the curvy patterns. I wonder if tanglers find themselves more interested in one genre or another????
You are so clever!

ReplyDeleteAre you a patchworker, the layout is like a 'log-cabin design?
